Position Overview:

VocoVision is seeking a dedicated and experienced Remote School Psychologist to join our team for a full-time, virtual position. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in school psychology, a passion for student success, and the ability to communicate effectively in a remote setting. As a Remote School Psychologist with VocoVision, you will work closely with students, educators, and parents to provide comprehensive psychological services that promote emotional well-being and academic achievement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Psychological Assessments: Administer and interpret psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, emotional, and behavioral development.
• IEP Development & Implementation: Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and appropriate intervention strategies.
• Counseling & Support: Provide virtual counseling to students who face social, emotional, or academic challenges, focusing on overall well-being.
• Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, school staff, and families to address students' unique needs and enhance their academic and social-emotional growth.
• Crisis Intervention: Offer immediate support for students experiencing emotional or behavioral crises as needed.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate, confidential records of student progress, assessments, and interventions.
• Professional Development: Participate in virtual team meetings, workshops, and continuing education opportunities to stay current with best practices in school psychology.

Qualifications:

• Education: Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
• Licensure: Valid Arizona School Psychologist certification (or the ability to obtain certification).
• Experience: At least 2 years of experience working in a school psychology role.
• Technical Skills: Proficient with virtual communication platforms and assessment tools.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a virtual environment.
• Organization: Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle a remote caseload and responsibilities.
