Job Title: Virtual Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher (DHHT)

Location: Delaware (remote)

Job Type: Full-time, Contract

Salary: Commensurate with experience

Job Description:

We are seeking a licensed Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher to provide virtual services to our clients in Delaware. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing education and support to students who are deaf or hard of hearing via teletherapy.

Responsibilities:

• Provide virtual instruction and support to students who are deaf or hard of hearing
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for each student
• Collaborate with other professionals, including speech language pathologists and occupational therapists, to develop comprehensive plans for each student
• Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed
• Communicate with parents and caregivers regularly to discuss student progress and provide support and guidance
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for each student

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Deaf Education or related field
• Active state licensure in Delaware as a DHHT
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a DHHT
• Experience with virtual instruction and teletherapy preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
