Are you an enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) wanting to make a significant impact on students’ lives from home? We are seeking a dedicated SLP to provide high-quality virtual speech and language services to school-aged children.

In this role, you’ll work closely with diverse students, helping them navigate communication challenges. As a vital member of our teletherapy team, you’ll collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and deliver customized therapy sessions.

Responsibilities:

Assess and diagnose speech, language, and fluency challenges; develop and apply tailored IEPs.
Deliver therapy to students, track their progress, and adjust strategies when needed.
Work alongside teachers and families to support students’ communication needs.
Screen students, maintain detailed documentation, and join meetings for thorough planning.
Champion student advocacy, train staff, and stay sharp with professional development.

Qualifications:

Master's or Doctorate degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorder, or related field
Alabama Teaching Certification required
Alabama SLP license required
ASHA CCC-SLP Certification
Minimum of 2 years of experience working with students with communication disorders
Experience providing virtual therapy services is a plus
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Fast/reliable computer & internet connection
- No Chromebooks/tablets permitted

Highlights:

1099 Position
Guaranteed Weekly Hours
Hourly Rate: $40-$45
- Hourly rate consistent across direct/indirect hours/planning periods
School hours
Clinical/Technical Team on standby
