Remote Speech-Language Pathologist (Case Management) Position

VocoVision is thrilled to partner with a prominent school district in California that is on the lookout for a qualified remote Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to fill a full-time role for the 2024-2025 school year. Candidates must possess prior experience in educational settings to be eligible for this remote opportunity. Residency in California is not a requirement, but you must hold licenses for both your home state and California.

Position Overview:

Type: Full-time for the 2024-2025 academic year
Caseload: K-12, primarily focused on elementary; 4 students with speech-only needs
Compensation: $65-$69 per hour, with weekly payments
Services: Includes both direct and indirect therapy services
Role Type: Independent contractor
Insurance Requirement: Professional liability insurance must be secured upon offer acceptance

Primary Duties:

Conduct 47 re-evaluations, triannual assessments, and screenings for students requiring speech services.
Carry out remote evaluations, assessments, and diagnoses for speech, voice, hearing, and language impairments.
Create tailored intervention programs to meet the specific communication, language, articulation, and social interaction needs of each student virtually.
Work collaboratively with teachers and school staff to implement effective intervention strategies remotely.

Experience Required:

Experience with teletherapy and familiarity with AAC devices
Minimum of two years of experience in a school-based role is essential

Certifications Needed:

California Speech-Language Pathologist License
Valid California teaching or educational credential
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
Up-to-date state clearances, including fingerprints, TB tests if applicable, and background checks
