Position Overview: As a Virtual School Psychologist, you will play a vital role in promoting students' mental health and academic success. You will work remotely, collaborating with educators, parents, and students to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment. Your expertise will be essential in assessing students' needs, providing counseling, and helping to develop strategies that support their emotional and educational growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct virtual assessments to evaluate students' academic and emotional needs.
Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to create Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans.
Provide virtual counseling and support services to students, addressing a wide range of emotional and behavioral challenges.
Monitor and track students' progress and adjust interventions as needed.
Participate in virtual IEP meetings and contribute to the development of effective intervention strategies.
Offer guidance and resources to parents and caregivers to support their child's well-being.
Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in school psychology.

Qualifications:

Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
South Carolina School Psychologist licensure or ability to obtain it.
Strong communication and virtual collaboration skills.
Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for helping students succeed.
Ability to work independently and manage a virtual caseload effectively.
