Florida Speech Language Pathologist (Virtual)
Vocovision is currently seeking a qualified and experienced Speech Language Pathologist to provide speech and language therapy services to students in a Florida School District. The SLP will work fully remote, full-time and will be responsible for providing evaluations, diagnoses, and therapy services to K-8 students with speech and language disorders throughout the 2023/2024 school year.
Requirements:
- Master s degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Sciences
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- Florida State Licensure in Speech Language Pathology
- At least 2 years of prior experience working as an SLP in schools
- Ability to collaborate effectively with other professionals and parents
- Familiarity with a range of communication disorders and their impact on academic and social functioning
- Proficient conducting assessments and evaluations
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language evaluations, diagnoses, and therapy services to students with communication disorders in a school setting
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students specific communication needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement effective communication strategies and support plans for students
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records of therapy sessions, assessments, and treatment plans
- Attend and participate in team meetings, IEP meetings, and other relevant meetings to discuss student progress
- Keep up-to-date with current research and developments in the field of speech and language therapy, and apply this knowledge to inform practice and improve outcomes for students
