Fully Remote Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher (DHH) Position in Lansing, MI

VocoVision is collaborating with a school district in Lansing, MI, to offer a part-time remote Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher (DHH) position. All our contracts are structured as 1099, giving you the flexibility to work independently from the comfort of your own home.

Responsibilities:

Provide virtual instruction and support to students with hearing impairments, following Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
Conduct online assessments to determine students' specific needs.
Collaborate with other faculty members in IEP team meetings.

Qualifications:

Hold a Master's Degree in Deaf Education.
Possess Michigan state certification for Deaf Education.
Have at least two years of experience in teaching Deaf and Hard of Hearing students.
Maintain professional liability insurance coverage.

Additional Information:

School Hours: 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM Eastern
Total Hours: Part-time, specific hours to be discussed (direct + indirect services)
Caseload: K-12 students with mild to moderate disabilities
We use 1099 contracting for all VocoVision positions.
