Fully Remote -North Carolina School Psychologist

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Virtual School Psychologist to join our team, providing exceptional mental health support and educational services to students in North Carolina. As a Virtual School Psychologist, you will have the opportunity to work remotely, utilizing modern technology to connect with students, parents, and educational staff, and make a positive impact on their well-being and academic success.

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify students' strengths and areas of concern.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school administrators to develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
Provide virtual counseling and therapeutic interventions to address social-emotional issues, behavioral concerns, and academic challenges.
Offer guidance and support to parents and educators on creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Assess and address potential learning disabilities or developmental disorders, making appropriate referrals for further evaluations.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop strategies for improving students' academic performance and overall mental health.
Maintain accurate records of assessments, interventions, and progress monitoring.

Qualifications:

Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
Valid North Carolina state certification as a School Psychologist.
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a School Psychologist, preferably with experience in virtual or remote settings.
Strong understanding of special education laws, regulations, and procedures.
Familiarity with virtual communication platforms and technology tools for remote assessment and counseling.
Empathy, compassion, and the ability to provide culturally responsive services to diverse student populations.
