Job Title: Fully Remote Special Education Teacher (Early Childhood Certification) - Virginia
Location: Remote (Virginia certified candidates only)
Position Type: Full-Time
Job Description: We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Special Education Teacher with early childhood certification to work with our students in a fully remote capacity. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of early childhood development and experience in adapting curriculum to meet the unique needs of young learners.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities.
Design engaging and effective lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.
Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other educators to ensure a holistic approach to student support.
Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed.
Provide support in developing social skills and emotional regulation.
Maintain accurate records of student performance and communicate regularly with stakeholders.
Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices.

Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field
Valid Virginia teaching license with Early Childhood Special Education endorsement.
Experience working with young children with special needs.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
Proficiency in using technology for virtual teaching and collaboration.
