As a Remote Special Education Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in providing tailored instruction and support to students, ensuring they receive a quality education regardless of their physical location. Your expertise will be instrumental in helping students thrive academically and personally.

The applicant must be able to complete a short tech screening prior to any interview. The position will also be a 1099 contract and applicant will be required to obtain liability insurance upon hire.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education.
Valid Illinois teaching license with LBS1 endorsement.
Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher, preferably in a remote or virtual setting.
Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a remote teaching environment.
Reliable internet access and a professional home workspace.
Familiarity with remote learning tools and technology.
