Position Overview:
As a Virtual Teacher for Visually Impaired Students, you will provide engaging and effective instruction tailored to the unique needs of each student. You will utilize adaptive technology and innovative teaching strategies to create an inclusive learning environment that fosters academic success and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver personalized lesson plans based on individual student needs and learning goals.
• Utilize adaptive technologies and tools to enhance the learning experience.
• Conduct virtual classes using video conferencing software, ensuring accessibility for all students.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
• Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other educators to create a supportive learning community.
• Participate in professional development opportunities and team meetings.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Special Education, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Valid teaching certification in Virginia and experience working with visually impaired students.
• Strong understanding of adaptive technologies and tools for visually impaired learners.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
