Job Description: As a Virtual Sign Language Interpreter, you will provide real-time interpretation services remotely for various clients. Your role will involve interpreting conversations, meetings, and other interactions to facilitate clear and effective communication between Deaf and hearing participants.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver accurate and professional sign language interpretation for virtual meetings, conferences, educational sessions, and other events.
• Ensure a high level of precision and professionalism in all interpretations.
• Adapt your interpreting approach to different settings, including medical, legal, and educational environments.
• Uphold confidentiality and respect for all participants.
• Effectively use video conferencing tools and other technology to provide interpretation services.

Qualifications:

• Certified American Sign Language (ASL) interpreter with relevant credentials (e.g., RID, NIC).
• Demonstrated experience in virtual sign language interpretation.
• Strong understanding of ASL and Deaf culture.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey nuanced information accurately.
• Proficient with video conferencing platforms (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams).
• Reliable internet connection and a professional home office setup.
