K-12 Virtual School Psychologist Job in Tacoma, WA

Are you a school psychologist looking to secure the flexibility of a remote position as an independent contractor? VocoVision is currently working with a district in the Tacoma, WA area need of a remote school psychologist to assist students in a K-12 age range. This position will treat you as your own independent contractor, meaning you ll have the opportunity to schedule your hours all from the comfort of your home. For further consideration, we require all contractors to have a minimum of two years of previous school experience within the past five years.

Position Details

• 1099 independent contracting structure
• 45-50 student K-12 caseload with mild-moderate symptoms
• Full-time expected hours (see below for more details)
• We work with a Zoom Plus application (HIPAA/FERPA compliant)
• We have multiple needs across different districts with different caseloads

School Hours: 8:00 to 3:30 PM local time

• 37.5 total direct/indirect hours per week
• You can complete any indirect hours at your own time.

Requirements

• Hold a Master s Degree in School Psychology.
• Possess a Washington educational certificate and state license for School Psychology.
• Maintain professional liability insurance coverage as an independent contractor.

Responsibilities

• Conduct virtual assessments to evaluate cognitive and behavioral needs.
• Provide remote counseling and crisis intervention services as needed.
• Manage and develop Individualized Educational Plans (IEPs) for each student.
• Participate in virtual IEP meetings with family and faculty members.
