VocoVision is collaborating with a distinguished school district in Maryland to address a need for a Sign Language Interpreter. This role is fully virtual, enabling the interpreter to work from home.

Position Details:

37.5 hours per week
Typically 1:1 interpreting for a middle school student (ASL)
Highly supportive Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (TDHH)

Requirements:

Minimum EIPA score of 4.0 (written test must be passed and documentation provided)
Relevant certification in sign language interpreting
Experience working with middle school students, preferably in an educational setting

Ability to work collaboratively with a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (TDHH)
