Title: Remote K-12 Teacher for Visually Impaired Students

Position Overview:
We're looking for a committed and experienced educator to join us as a Remote Teacher for Visually Impaired (TVI). In this role, you'll work closely with students, families, and educational partners to craft and execute personalized education plans, conduct virtual classes, and offer continuous support for academic achievement. This part-time position requires 15 hours per week, including both direct instruction and other related tasks.

Responsibilities:
- Personalize and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for visually impaired students.
- Deliver virtual instruction and assistance across core subjects, covering Braille literacy, mobility, technology use, and daily living skills.
- Collaborate with students, families, and colleagues to assess progress and refine teaching strategies.
- Utilize innovative teaching techniques and assistive technologies to enhance engagement and learning.
- Administer assessments to track progress and guide instructional decisions.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education for the Visually Impaired or a related field.
- Valid Massachusetts certification as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI).
- Previous experience working with visually impaired students in an educational setting.
- Proficiency in Braille literacy and familiarity with adaptive technology.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for effective remote teamwork.
- Passion for inclusive education and advocacy for students with disabilities.
- Access to reliable high-speed internet and remote teaching technology.
