Minnesota School Speech Language Pathologist Remote
Job Type: Full-Time, 1099 Contract, K-12 Student Population, Remote Work Setting
Job Description: We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to work full-time for a school district in Minnesota for the 2023/2024 school year. As a remote-based SLP, you will provide speech and language therapy services to students in schools, using our advanced teletherapy platform.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Minnesota state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- 2 years of experience working as an SLP in a school setting
- Experience with teletherapy (preferred but not required)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues remotely
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment
- Reliable internet connection and computer equipment necessary for remote work
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language disorders in students
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on students' needs and goals
- Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy services to students via our teletherapy platform
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a collaborative approach to student care
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary
- Provide guidance and support to parents and teachers regarding speech and language development strategies
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in the field of speech-language pathology
