Location: Remote (Nevada School District)
Employment Type: Contract/Full-Time

Requirements:

• Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and other relevant sign language systems.

• EIPA Score of at least 4.0 or RID Certification

• Written EIPA

• Nevada Interpreter Registry

• Two years of prior experience in educational interpreting or related settings is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Provide remote sign language interpreting services for students with hearing impairments during virtual classes, meetings, and school events.

• Facilitate effective communication between students, teachers, and staff to ensure equal access to educational resources and opportunities.

• Utilize video conferencing and other remote communication tools to deliver clear and accurate interpretations in real-time.

• Maintain a professional and supportive environment while promoting a positive learning experience for students.
