New Mexico Remote School Social Worker for remainder of school year

We are seeking to hire a Remote Social Worker.

What we are looking for:

• Full time candidate
• Must be available during school hours
• Job Capabilities:
  • Through live teleconferencing technology, social workers meet with students where they can provide a variety of different services including:
    • Identify students in need
    • Assess the level of intervention required
    • Create behavioral goals
    • Implement treatment plans
    • Respond to crisis situations
    • Monitor student progress

A social worker operates as a part of a special education team but isn’t limited to working with just special education students. Like many other school professionals, they also collaborate with parents, school staff, and teachers to help implement treatment plans. The goal for a school social worker is to create an environment and behavior management plan that best allows their students to succeed.
Job Details:

• 1099 Independent Contract
• Guaranteed Hours weekly
• 100% full remote, all you need is a working device (laptop or PC)
• Equal Pay for indirect and direct services

Qualifications/Requirements

• Masters Level Degree in Social Work 
• Requires New Mexico State License --LCSW 
• Pending New Mexico Teaching Cert will be accepted if not active
• 2 years of recent school experience within last 5 years preferred
