ESOL Teacher in Ohio - Remote

Location: Virtual (Based in Ohio)

Hours: Part time (10-15 hours/week)

Position Overview: We are looking for a passionate and skilled Remote ESOL Teacher to join our team. In this position, you will deliver virtual interventions for English language learners, collaborate with general education teams, and focus on ELL standards to prepare students for the Ohio English Language Proficiency Assessment (OELPA).

Key Responsibilities:

Provide virtual interventions tailored to the specific needs of English language learners.
Work with general education teachers to ensure content is accessible for ELL students.
Emphasize ELL standards to adequately prepare students for the OELPA.
Monitor student progress and adjust strategies as needed to aid language development.
Maintain regular communication with students and families to provide updates and assistance.

Qualifications:

Valid Ohio General Education or Special Education License with an ESOL endorsement.
Must be Bilingual in Tagalog (Filipino)
Experience working with English language learners in educational environments.
Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively within diverse teams.
Familiarity with online teaching tools and technology.
Commitment to supporting ELL students and improving their educational journey.
