Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Special Education Teacher to work for a Oklahoma School District for the 2023/2024 school year. This is a full-time, remote position that requires a commitment to providing high-quality education and support to students in the school setting.

Qualifications:

• Master s degree in Special Education (preferred)
• Oklahoma state teaching certification in Special Education
• Two years of experience working as a Special Education Teacher
• Ability to work collaboratively with other educators, parents, and administrators
• Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs, in accordance with state and federal guidelines
• Conduct assessments to identify students' strengths, weaknesses, and learning goals
• Adapt instructional materials and teaching strategies to meet the unique needs of each student
• Provide direct instruction and support to students through virtual platforms
• Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive and inclusive learning environment
• Monitor student progress, collect data, and adjust teaching strategies as needed
• Provide ongoing communication and support to parents/guardians regarding student progress and individualized interventions
• Stay up to date with special education laws, regulations, and best practices
