Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will work side by side with families, staff, and students to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that meet the unique needs of each student. The role requires strong creativity and a deep commitment to student success.
 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Updated teaching license with Special Education endorsement in the state of Vermont.
• Proven experience working with students with diverse needs and abilities.
• Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor, implement, and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Adapt and differentiate curriculum to meet the diverse needs of every learner.
• Provide instruction in small-group or one-on-one settings.
• Work together with general education teachers, specialists, and support staff to ensure student success.
• Stay up to date about best practices and legal requirements in special education.
