VocoVision is seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team on a remote, 1099 contract basis. As a Remote Speech-Language Pathologist, you will have the flexibility to work from anywhere while providing services to students across Pennsylvania. This independent contractor role involves delivering comprehensive speech and language therapy to students with a variety of needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct remote therapy sessions for students with various speech and language disorders.
- Perform evaluations, screenings, and assessments to determine students' speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s goals.
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, student progress, and any changes in students' conditions, adhering to state and federal guidelines.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to ensure effective communication and service delivery.
- Track and report student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed.
- Ensure confidentiality and comply with all ethical and legal standards in speech-language pathology.
- Stay current with the latest research and trends in speech therapy to provide the highest quality care.
Qualifications:
- Licensure: Must hold a Pennsylvania teaching certificate.
- Experience: Prior experience in speech therapy, particularly in school settings, is preferred.
- Technology: Comfortable using teletherapy platforms and online tools. Must have access to reliable internet and a quiet, professional workspace.
- Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
