Remote School Speech-Language Pathologist – California

We are actively seeking an experienced and committed Speech-Language Pathologist to participate in remote teaching, assessments, and student support.

  • Master's in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Minimum 2 years of school-based experience
  • Active licensure in California or active teaching certification
  • Proficiency in leading IEPs and conducting evaluations
  • Tech-savvy with excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • CA Live Scan of fingerprints

Job Details:

  • Duration: 24-25 School year
  • Full-time: 37.5 hours per week 
  • Student Range: Middle School 
  • Caseload: 40-50 students
  • Disability levels: Mild to moderate 
  • Direct Therapy: Recessive, Expressive, Articulation, etc.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and parents while working remotely
  • Access to district email and IEP system
  • Hourly Rate: $60-$65 


  • Identify speech and language handicaps through evaluation using standardized tests and authentic assessment activities.
  • Deliver remote speech and language services for the habilitation or prevention of communication handicaps.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and local policies related to speech and language handicaps.
  • Offer tele-services for school and community related to speech and language handicaps.
  • Provide HIPAA/FIRPA compliant speech/language services to students individually or in small groups.
  • Develop tailored educational plans and Individualized Educational Plans (IEPs) that align with student needs.
  • Foster an inclusive learning environment that acknowledges diverse student characteristics.
  • Design coherent instructional plans to aid students in accessing and progressing in the general curriculum.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, students, and school personnel regarding goals and objectives.
  • Attend parent conferences upon request and utilize various resources to enhance teaching practices.
