Remote Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher (DHH) Position in Anaheim, CA

VocoVision is teaming up with a school district in the Anaheim, CA area to hire a part-time remote Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher (DHH). All our contracts are structured as 1099, enabling you to work independently from the comfort of your own home.

Responsibilities:

• Provide virtual instruction and support to students with hearing impairments, while following Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
• Conduct online assessments to determine the specific needs of students.
• Collaborate with other faculty members in IEP team meetings.

Qualifications:

• Hold a Master's Degree in Deaf Education.
• California state certification for Deaf Education
• Have at least two years of experience in teaching Deaf and Hard of Hearing students.
• Maintain professional liability insurance coverage.

Additional Information:

• School Hours: 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM Pacific
• Total Hours: Part-time, specific hours to be discussed (direct + indirect services)
• Caseload: K-12 students with mild to moderate disabilities
• We use 1099 contracting for all VocoVision positions.
