Remote Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) | VocoVision
Are you passionate about supporting visually impaired students from the comfort of your home? VocoVision is seeking certified Teachers of the Visually Impaired for a fully remote role. This position utilizes innovative videoconferencing tools to deliver customized educational services to PreK-12 students.

Position Overview:

Pay Range: $30-$38/hr
Contract Type: 1099 Independent Contractor
Caseload: PreK-12 students
Schedule: Full-time availability

Requirements:

Master’s degree in Visual Impairments Education or a related field
Valid state certification in Visual Impairments Education
Proven experience working with visually impaired students
Strong communication and teamwork skills; bilingual skills are a plus

Key Responsibilities:

Facilitate online lessons and assessments tailored to student needs
Create and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for visually impaired students
Work closely with school staff, parents, and caregivers to foster student growth

What You’ll Need:

Professional liability insurance
Reliable computer with a high-speed internet connection
Comfortable working as an independent contractor
Completion of a tech screening
