Remote Psychologist for North Carolina School District
Position Overview: As a Remote School Psychologist, you will provide essential psychological services to students in an online setting. You will work closely with educators, parents, and administrators to support student mental health and academic achievement. You do not need to live in North Carolina to apply, you need a license in the state you live in and the state of North Carolina to be eligible.
Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related discipline.
- Valid North Carolina licensure as a school psychologist (or eligible for licensure before start date).
- Minimum of two years prior experience in school psychology, preferably in a remote environment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with students and families.
- Understanding of the use of technology for assessments, counseling, and communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement remote assessments and evaluations of students’ cognitive, emotional, and social needs.
- Carry out counseling and intervention services to students facing various challenges.
- Work with teachers and parents to create Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Document student progress and adjust intervention strategies as needed.
- Sustain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with state and federal regulations.
