Position Overview:
A School district in Wisconsin is looking for a remote Captionist to begin providing part-time services for their students as soon as possible. You will provide real-time captioning services for virtual classrooms, ensuring that every student can engage effectively with the curriculum.

Responsibilities:

• Attend virtual classes and meetings with students and faculty members.
• Provide accurate and timely live captions for all spoken content.
• Collaborate with instructors to ensure seamless communication and content understanding.
• Edit and refine captions for clarity and accuracy.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
• Keep up-to-date with relevant technology and captioning tools.

Qualifications:

• Associated Degree (Bachelor's degree preferred).
• C-Print Certification
• Strong typing skills.
• Proficiency in captioning software and tools (e.g., OpenAI GPT-3, StreamText, etc.).
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Knowledge of educational terminology and subject matter a plus.
