We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Remote School Counselor to join our team and make a meaningful impact in West Virginia schools.

Position Overview: As a Remote School Counselor with VocoVision, you will provide virtual counseling services to students in West Virginia, helping them navigate academic, social, and emotional challenges. This role requires a skilled professional who can deliver effective counseling remotely, utilizing digital tools to connect with students, parents, and school staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct virtual counseling sessions with students to address academic, social, and emotional concerns.
Develop and implement individualized counseling plans and strategies to support student success.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school administrators to address student needs and provide appropriate interventions.
Monitor student progress and adjust counseling strategies as needed.
Maintain accurate and confidential records of counseling sessions and student progress.
Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.
Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in school counseling.

Qualifications:

Master’s degree in School Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
Valid West Virginia School Counselor certification or license.
Previous experience as a school counselor or in a similar role preferred.
Strong understanding of virtual counseling techniques and digital communication tools.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
Commitment to providing high-quality support to students and families.
