Remote School Occupational Therapist Job in Peoria, IL

We are currently seeking a dedicated full-time Occupational Therapist to join our expanding team, making a positive impact on students in the state of Illinois through remote work. This fully remote role allows you to contribute meaningfully without geographical constraints.

Qualifications:

• Hold a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Possess an active Occupational Therapy license in Illinois.
• Bring a minimum of 2 years experience as an Occupational Therapist in school settings.
• Preferred familiarity with remote work.
• Demonstrate proficiency in utilizing educational technology platforms, video conferencing tools, and online teaching resources.

Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group occupational therapy services to students, including assessments, interventions, and progress tracking.
• Collaborate with educators and parents to develop and implement effective intervention strategies tailored to each student's needs.
• Conduct evaluations to assess students' functional abilities, sensory processing, motor skills, and overall performance in school-related activities.
• Develop and execute personalized treatment plans and goals based on assessment findings, in coordination with the individualized education program (IEP) team.
• Deliver direct occupational therapy services in various school settings, including classrooms, therapy rooms, and other relevant environments.

Additional Information:

• This position involves full-time hours (35-40 hours per week).
• All positions with VocoVision are contracted under 1099 independent contracting.
