Virtual School Psychologist

Location: Pennsylvania, United States (Remote)
Job Type: Fulltime Contract - Next School Year
Pay: $48/Hour

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Virtual School Psychologist to join our team. The Virtual School Psychologist will provide comprehensive psychological services to students enrolled in virtual education programs across Pennsylvania. This position offers the unique opportunity to support students in their academic and personal development while working remotely.


  • Conduct virtual assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, academic, emotional, and behavioral functioning.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies for students with diverse needs.
  • Provide virtual counseling and therapeutic interventions to support students' social-emotional well-being.
  • Conduct crisis intervention and risk assessments as needed, and provide appropriate referrals for mental health services.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of positive behavior support plans to address challenging behaviors and promote a positive school climate.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss students' progress, needs, and interventions.
  • Provide consultation and training to teachers and staff on topics related to child development, behavior management, and mental health.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of assessments, interventions, and communications with students and stakeholders.
  • Stay informed about current trends, research, and best practices in the field of school psychology, and integrate this knowledge into practice.
  • Adhere to professional ethics and standards as outlined by the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) and relevant state regulations.


  • Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
  • Pennsylvania state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
  • Experience working in K-12 education settings, preferably in virtual or online education.
  • Proficiency in conducting virtual assessments and providing teletherapy services.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of special education laws and regulations, including the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and Section 504.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
  • Commitment to cultural competence and serving diverse student populations.
  • Familiarity with virtual learning platforms and technology tools for education and communication.
  • Willingness to undergo background checks and comply with all relevant policies and procedures.
