Are you a dedicated School Social Worker seeking a fulfilling role with the flexibility of working from home? VocoVision has a full-time position available for the upcoming 2023-2024 school year in the Albuquerque, NM area. We require a minimum of two years of school experience is required for a new position. We will treat you as an independent contractor under a 1099 basis.

Requirements:

• Hold a Master's degree in Social Work or a related field from an accredited university.
• Possess a valid Social Worker (LSW) certification.
• Have a valid licensure as a School Social Worker in the state of New Mexico.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a school social worker.
• Reliable home internet connection and appropriate equipment for remote work.
• Professional liability insurance coverage.

What to Expect:

• Fully remote position with work-life flexibility.
• 1099 independent contracting structure.
• Full or Part-time hours (15-40 hours per week)

Responsibilities:

• Conducting virtual assessments of students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs using various tools and techniques.
• Providing virtual counseling and therapeutic interventions to students individually or in small groups, addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral concerns, and family dynamics.
• Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and parents/guardians to develop strategies that support students' social and emotional development.
• Attending virtual Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contributing to the development and implementation of appropriate interventions and accommodations.
