Position Overview: We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Remote Sign Language Interpreter to join our team. In this role, you will facilitate communication between deaf or hard-of-hearing students and their educators, classmates, and school personnel in various virtual classroom settings. Your expertise will play a crucial role in fostering an inclusive and supportive learning atmosphere.

Qualifications

Valid certification in American Sign Language (ASL) interpreting (RID, NAD, or equivalent)
Previous experience interpreting in educational environments is preferred
Knowledge of IEPs and educational terminology is advantageous.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work autonomously and effectively in a remote setting
Strong commitment to promoting an inclusive educational environment

Applicants should be comfortable working as an Independent Contractor
