Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) – Pennsylvania
Full-Time/Part-Time | Remote Position
Duration: Fall 2024 to Spring 2025 – VocoVision
Are you an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) who is passionate about supporting students from the comfort of your own home? VocoVision is looking for a dedicated SLP to provide virtual speech therapy services to students across Pennsylvania. Work with K-12 students to address speech and language barriers, fostering their academic success and personal development.
Key Details:
- Schedule: Flexible full-time or part-time hours
- Remote Work: Conduct therapy sessions from home
- Caseload: Serve a variety of students across different grade levels with diverse speech and language needs
- Contract Type: Independent contractor (1099)
Responsibilities:
- Remote Therapy Sessions: Provide individualized therapy to students virtually, adjusting to their unique needs.
- Assessments & Evaluations: Carry out virtual evaluations to assess speech and language development and determine areas of improvement.
- Collaboration: Work closely with educators, parents, and other professionals to design and implement personalized learning plans.
- Behavioral Techniques: Develop strategies to support communication disorders and manage behavioral challenges in the school setting.
Qualifications:
- Education: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited school.
- Certification: ASHA-certified (CCC-SLP) and eligible for or currently hold a Pennsylvania state license.
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience, preferably in a pediatric or school-based environment.
- Skills: Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities to interact effectively with students, families, and school staff.
- Technology Proficiency: Comfortable using online platforms and virtual therapy tools (e.g., Zoom, therapy software).
