Position Overview: We are excited to welcome a Remote Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to our team. As a remote SLP, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, assess their speech and language needs, and provide virtual therapy sessions that empower them to overcome communication challenges. Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual assessments to evaluate clients' speech and language abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's goals and needs.
- Provide virtual therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques and creative interventions.
- Collaborate with clients, caregivers, and other professionals to achieve optimal communication outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and progress reports.
- Stay informed about the latest research and developments in speech-language pathology.
- Attend virtual team meetings and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
- Valid Oregon state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- ASHA Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
- Previous experience in speech-language therapy, with virtual therapy experience a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for remote interactions with clients and team members.
- Proficient in using virtual therapy platforms and technology.
