Support students in overcoming speech challenges while working closely with families and educators to design individualized education plans. Deliver therapy sessions tailored to meet each student’s unique needs.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and assess communication challenges, developing tailored IEPs for effective support.
• Provide therapy services, track progress, and refine treatment strategies as needed.
• Work with parents, teachers, and staff to enhance students' communication abilities.
• Perform screenings, maintain detailed records, and participate in multidisciplinary meetings.
• Advocate for students, offer training to staff, and stay updated with the latest practices.

Qualifications & Benefits:

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorder, or related field
• Iowa Teaching Certification optional
• Iowa SLP license required
• ASHA CCC-SLP Certification
• 1099 Position 
• School Hours
• Hourly Rate: $45-$50
  • Hourly rate consistent across direct/indirect hours/planning periods
