We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Special Education Teacher to join our virtual teaching team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing individualized instruction, support, and guidance to students with special needs. As a virtual Special Education Teacher, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students in the comfort of your own home.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) based on students' needs and abilities.
• Create engaging and inclusive virtual learning experiences to facilitate students' academic, social, and emotional growth.
• Adapt instructional materials and techniques to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Provide one-on-one and small group instruction using virtual platforms.
• Collaborate with parents, guardians, and a multidisciplinary team to ensure the successful implementation of IEPs.
• Monitor and track students' attendance, participation, and achievement.
• Attend virtual meetings, professional development sessions, and staff trainings as required.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field
• Valid special education teaching certification in the state of Michigan.
• Proven experience working with students with special needs in a virtual or traditional classroom setting.
• Familiarity with virtual learning platforms and digital tools.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
