Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose communication disorders including speech, language, voice, and fluency; create tailored IEPs for students.
- Deliver therapy services, monitor student outcomes, and revise treatment plans as necessary.
- Partner with teachers, parents, and staff to support communication needs in students.
- Conduct evaluations, maintain accurate documentation, and participate in multidisciplinary planning meetings.
- Champion student advocacy, keep informed of new developments in the field, and engage in ongoing professional education.
Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorder, or related field
- Alaska Teaching Certification Type C required
- Alaska SLP license required
- ASHA CCC-SLP Certification
Highlights:
- 1099 Position
- Hourly Rate: $45-$55
- Hourly rate consistent across direct/indirect hours/planning periods
