Responsibilities:

• Assess and diagnose communication disorders including speech, language, voice, and fluency; create tailored IEPs for students.
• Deliver therapy services, monitor student outcomes, and revise treatment plans as necessary.
• Partner with teachers, parents, and staff to support communication needs in students.
• Conduct evaluations, maintain accurate documentation, and participate in multidisciplinary planning meetings.
• Champion student advocacy, keep informed of new developments in the field, and engage in ongoing professional education.

Qualifications:

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorder, or related field
• Alaska Teaching Certification Type C required
• Alaska SLP license required
• ASHA CCC-SLP Certification

Highlights:

• 1099 Position 
• Hourly Rate: $45-$55
  • Hourly rate consistent across direct/indirect hours/planning periods
