Remote Speech-Language Pathologist Needed in Louisiana

Are you a motivated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) eager to make a difference in students’ lives while working remotely? We are seeking an experienced SLP to provide exceptional virtual speech and language services to school-aged children.

In this position, you’ll work closely with students to help them overcome communication barriers and reach their full potential. As a valuable member of our teletherapy team, you’ll collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and deliver customized therapy sessions.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and assess disorders in speech, language, voice, and fluency; design IEPs to address students’ unique needs.
• Deliver direct therapy, monitor progress, and adjust treatment strategies to enhance student outcomes.
• Partner with teachers, parents, and staff to support communication development.
• Conduct screenings, document findings, and actively participate in team meetings for coordinated support.
• Provide advocacy, training, and professional development to ensure students receive appropriate services.

Qualifications:

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, or related field
• Florida SLP license required
• ASHA CCC-SLP Certification
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working with students with communication disorders
• Experience providing virtual therapy services is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Fast/reliable computer & internet connection 
  • No Chromebooks/tablets permitted
