Remote Speech Language Pathologist Opportunity in Alabama

Are you a committed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) ready to impact students’ lives from home? We’re looking for a passionate SLP to provide top-notch virtual speech and language services to school-aged children.

In this role, you’ll work with a diverse student population, helping them overcome communication obstacles and reach their fullest potential. Collaborate with educators, parents, and professionals to create individualized education plans (IEPs) and deliver personalized therapy sessions tailored to each student’s unique needs.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and assess speech, language, voice, and fluency issues; craft personalized IEPs for each student’s needs.
• Deliver therapy directly to students, track their progress, and make adjustments to keep things moving forward.
• Team up with teachers, parents, and staff to tackle communication hurdles.
• Run screenings, keep tidy records, and join team meetings to ensure everything's in sync.
• Be a voice for students, train staff, and stay sharp by diving into professional development.

Qualifications:

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorder, or related field
• Alabama Teaching Certification required
• Alabama SLP license required
• ASHA CCC-SLP Certification
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working with students with communication disorders
• Experience providing virtual therapy services is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Fast/reliable computer & internet connection 
  • No Chromebooks/tablets permitted

Highlights:

• 1099 Position 
• Guaranteed Weekly Hours
• Hourly Rate: $40-$45
  • Hourly rate consistent across direct/indirect hours/planning periods
