Remote Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Full-Time, School-Based

Position Details:

  • Location: Remote
  • Start Date: Immediate
  • Hourly Rate: $47-52 per hour (equivalent to $80-90k annually based on a 10-month school year)
  • Work Hours: Full-Time, 7:45 AM – 3:15 PM (Standard School Hours)
  • Caseload: 60 Students, Pre-K through Third Grade
  • IEP System: MOIEP
  • Disabilities: Mild to Moderate

Job Overview: VocoVision is seeking a qualified and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide remote speech therapy services for students within a school setting. In this full-time role, you will work with a caseload of 60 students ranging from Pre-Kindergarten to Third Grade, addressing a variety of speech and language challenges. The primary responsibility is to deliver speech therapy that aligns with students' IEP goals, helping them improve communication abilities.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of 60 students (Pre-K through Third Grade) with diverse speech and language needs
  • Provide speech therapy interventions to address a range of communication challenges
  • Maintain accurate case documentation, including progress tracking and goal updates
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to meet students' educational needs
  • Align therapy sessions with individual IEP goals and monitor progress throughout the year
  • Complete all IEP documentation and reports using the MOIEP system
  • Participate in virtual team meetings and professional collaborations
  • Ensure compliance with state and district regulations for speech therapy services

Required Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Maryland licensure and ASHA certification
  • Certification by the Maryland Department of Education
  • Experience with IEP documentation (MOIEP system experience is preferred)
  • Background in working with students with mild to moderate disabilities
