Remote Speech Therapist: Break Down Barriers and Build Stronger Connections
ProCare Therapy is excited to announce a new opportunity for a highly motivated Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in Hawaii! As a school-based virtual Speech Language Pathologist, you will have the chance to work with students from diverse backgrounds and help them overcome communication disorders. You will be responsible for providing virtual speech therapy sessions to students of all ages, collaborating with teachers and other school staff, and implementing communication strategies in the classroom. We are looking for someone with strong communication skills, proficiency with technology, and a passion for helping students succeed.
Job Details:
- Full-time position
- K-12th grade caseload
- Conduct evaluations and assessments of students with communication disorders
- Develop and implement treatment plans and individualized education programs (IEPs) for each student
- Provide virtual speech therapy sessions and group therapy sessions
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate regularly with parents and caregivers
- Participate in meetings and professional development opportunities as required by the school district
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Communication Disorders or Speech Pathology
- Active license in Speech-Language Pathology
- At least two years of school experience
- Comfortable with being a 1099 contractor
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency with technology
