Remote Speech Therapist Needed in Pennsylvania
Work From Home Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) Opportunity – Pennsylvania
December 2024 to June 2025 (Possible Extension) – VocoVision
VocoVision is looking for a skilled and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join our remote team, delivering virtual speech therapy to students in Pennsylvania. This flexible position offers you the chance to work with K-12 students, helping them overcome speech and language difficulties, and promoting both their academic progress and personal growth.
Position Overview:
- Work Schedule: Full-time and part-time options with flexible hours
- Remote Role: Provide therapy and assessments from your home office
- Caseload: Work with students across a range of ages, addressing various speech needs. Multiple Positions (K-12 Available)
- Contract Type: Independent contractor (1099)
Key Responsibilities:
- Virtual Therapy: Conduct online speech therapy sessions, adjusting techniques to suit each student's specific requirements
- Assessments & Evaluations: Perform virtual evaluations to diagnose and address speech and language concerns
- Collaboration: Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to design and implement individual plans to support students' academic and personal goals
- Behavioral Support: Create and implement strategies to manage communication disorders and related behavioral challenges
Qualifications:
- Education: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Certifications: ASHA-certified (CCC-SLP), and must be eligible for or possess a Pennsylvania state license to practice
- Experience: At least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in a school or pediatric setting
- Skills: Strong communication and teamwork abilities to engage with students, families, and school personnel
- Tech Savvy: Comfortable using virtual platforms for delivering therapy and conducting assessments (Zoom, online tools, etc.)
