Job Title: Remote Teacher of The Deaf or Hard of Hearing K-12 Full/Part-Time (Montana)
Job Description: We are working closely with a school district in Montana that is actively searching for a Remote Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing to come on and help these students with these services for the remainder of the school year with potentially some summer extension. We are looking for a dedicated professional who is passionate about empowering students and fostering their academic success.
Responsibilities:
• Provide virtual instruction and support to students with hearing impairments, both individually and in small groups.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, speech-language pathologists, and other members of the educational team to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students.
• Adapt and modify instructional materials and strategies to meet the unique learning needs of students with hearing loss.
• Utilize virtual platforms effectively for delivering instruction, incorporating appropriate visual and auditory supports.
Position Details:
• Full-time position.
• Caseload: K-12 students with hearing impairments.
• Full capability of working Independently from home
• Weekly Pay
Qualifications:
• Master's Degree in Deaf Education or a related field.
• Valid Montana state certification as a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, or willingness to obtain before the start date.
• Experience working with students with hearing impairments and implementing individualized educational plans.
• Familiarity with virtual learning platforms and technology for delivering remote instruction.
• Knowledge of American Sign Language (ASL) and other communication modalities used by students with hearing loss.
