VocoVision is actively searching for a dedicated Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) to provide virtual instruction and support to students with visual impairments in the state of Louisiana. Position Overview:

Weekly compensation for both direct and indirect services.
Engage in a 1099 Contract arrangement.
Embrace a fully remote position.
Commitment to full-time hours, spanning 35-40 hours weekly.

Qualifications:

A Master's degree in Visual Education.
A valid teaching certification in Visual Education in Louisiana.
A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, specializing in Visually Impaired Students.
Proficiency in navigating virtual teaching platforms, video conferencing tools, and other educational technologies.
Adequate coverage of Professional Liability Insurance.

Responsibilities:

Crafting and executing individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored for students with visual impairments within a virtual setting.
Providing virtual instruction and support, with a focus on enhancing academic proficiency, fostering independence, and nurturing social-emotional development.
Utilizing effective instructional strategies and assistive technologies to facilitate impactful virtual learning experiences.
Administering assessments and evaluations to pinpoint students' educational needs and monitoring their progress.
Collaborating with parents, educators, and fellow professionals to design and implement strategies precisely catered to meet each student's unique requirements.
