Remote Speech-Language Pathologist Position

Overview:

VocoVision is collaborating with a school district in the Forest Grove area to find a dedicated remote Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the upcoming school year. Candidates with previous school experience are encouraged to apply as the district is eager to fill this position promptly!

Important: Applicants do not need to reside in Oregon but must hold licenses in both their home state and Oregon.

Position Details:

Employment Type: Full-time (40 hours/week)
Caseload Age: Grades K-8
Caseload Size: Less than 70, focused on case management (IEPs, evaluations) and SLPA supervision
Caseload Disabilities: Standard types, no specialized programs
Compensation: Hourly rate of $49-$51/hr, paid weekly
Role Type: Independent contractor
Insurance Requirement: Professional liability insurance must be obtained upon hiring

Responsibilities:

Conduct remote evaluations, assessments, and diagnoses of speech, voice, hearing, and language disorders.
Develop tailored intervention programs to meet the individual needs of students in communication, language development, articulation, and social communication.
Collaborate with teachers and school staff to implement interventions effectively.

Experience and Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of two years in a school-based setting required.
Licensure:
- Valid Oregon Speech-Language Pathologist License
Certifications:
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
Clearances: Current state clearances (including fingerprints, TB testing if applicable, and background checks).
