School-Based Virtual Speech Language Pathologist
ProCare Therapy is seeking a qualified and passionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide virtual services to K-12 students across the country. As a virtual SLP, you will assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders of students in a remote setting. You will collaborate with other members of the education team, including teachers and parents, to ensure that students receive comprehensive and individualized support for their communication needs.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct virtual assessments and evaluations to determine students' speech and language needs
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that address each student's communication goals
• Deliver virtual speech and language therapy services to students in a one-on-one and group setting
• Collaborate with teachers and parents to ensure students' IEP goals are aligned with classroom objectives and home routines
• Monitor and document student progress and adjust therapy plans as necessary
• Maintain accurate and timely records of student assessments, treatment plans, and progress reports
• Participate in school meetings and professional development activities as required
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Communication Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology
- Active license in Speech-Language Pathology
- At least 2 years of school-based experience
- Strong communication skills and proficiency with technology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA or CFY supervision provided
- Comfortable with being a 1099 contractor and providing your own liability insurance
