Job Title: Virtual School Counselor

Location: Nevada (remote)

Job Type: Full-time

Job Summary:

We are looking for a virtual school counselor to provide counseling and support services to students enrolled in our online school program. As a virtual school counselor, you will be responsible for providing individual and group counseling sessions, developing and implementing academic and career counseling programs, and offering support services to students and families.

Responsibilities:

• Provide virtual counseling services to students enrolled in our online school program
• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions
• Develop and implement academic and career counseling programs
• Provide crisis intervention and support services as needed
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other school staff to support student success
• Develop and maintain relationships with students and families
• Maintain accurate and timely student records and documentation
• Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in counseling or related field
• Active counseling license in the state of Nevada
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a school counselor, preferably in a virtual setting
• Experience working with students in grades K-12
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
