School Psychologist - Georgia (Remote)

Overview

VocoVision is recruiting an experienced School Psychologist to provide virtual services to students across Georgia. This remote position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse student population while enjoying the benefits of a flexible work-from-home arrangement.

Position Details

Location: Fully Remote (Georgia-based)
Employment Type: Full-time, 1099 Contract
Work Schedule: Flexible within school hours, including time for indirect services

Requirements

Master's or Specialist Degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
Active Georgia state School Psychologist license
Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a School Psychologist in educational settings
Proficiency in delivering remote psychological services and familiarity with online platforms like Zoom
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, both written and verbal
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a virtual environment
Cultural competence to serve Georgia's diverse student population

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations remotely
Design and implement behavioral intervention plans for students with various needs
Provide virtual counseling and support services to students
Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student progress
Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of assessments, interventions, and student progress
Participate in virtual IEP Team meetings and contribute professional insights
Adapt assessment and intervention techniques for effective online delivery
Stay informed about Georgia Department of Education requirements and advancements in school psychology
Provide culturally responsive services to Georgia's diverse student population
Adhere to all Georgia DOE guidelines and regulations for special education services
Contribute to the implementation of Georgia's Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) framework
Participate in professional development activities to maintain licensure and stay current with best practices
