Position Overview: As a School Psychologist in a Colorado school district, you're not just supporting students; you're leading them on a quest of awesomeness! Be their guiding star, ensuring their social and emotional well-being while they continue their academic adventure from home. You'll use virtual counseling, assessments, and guidance to create a positive and inclusive learning environment that's as cool as the Rocky Mountains.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual assessments to explore the peaks and valleys of students' emotional and behavioral needs.
- Provide virtual counseling and support to students facing social and emotional challenges.
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and administrators to navigate the course for intervention plans.
- Offer guidance and resources to parents and caregivers to help their little explorers thrive emotionally.
- Participate in virtual meetings and contribute to the development of strategies that help students discover and grow.
- Keep a record (not a snow globe, but records) of student interactions and progress.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices to be the ultimate school psychologist
Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
- Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure in Colorado.
- Experience in providing counseling and social-emotional support to students.
- Strong virtual counseling and communication skills.
- A passion for adventure and helping students succeed socially and emotionally.
