Overview
VocoVision is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to provide virtual services to students throughout Tennessee. This remote position offers an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact on students' lives while enjoying a flexible work environment.
Position Details
- Location: Fully Remote (Tennessee-based)
- Contract Type: Full-time, 1099 Independent Contractor
- Schedule: Flexible within school hours, including time for indirect services
Requirements
- Master's or Specialist Degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Active Tennessee Department of Education license as a School Psychologist
- Minimum of 2 years recent experience as a School Psychologist in school settings
- Proficiency in telepsychology delivery and familiarity with online platforms (e.g., Zoom)
- Strong problem-solving and adaptability skills
- Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal
- Capacity to work independently and collaborate effectively in a virtual team environment
- Cultural competence to serve Tennessee's diverse student population
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations via teleassessment
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans for students with diverse needs
- Conduct virtual counseling sessions and provide support services to students
- Foster collaboration with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, interventions, and progress
- Actively participate in virtual IEP Team meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans
- Adapt assessment and intervention strategies to optimize effectiveness in an online environment
- Stay informed about Tennessee Department of Education requirements and advancements in school psychology
- Provide culturally responsive services to Tennessee's diverse student population
- Adhere to all TN DOE guidelines and regulations for special education services
- Contribute to the implementation of Tennessee's Response to Instruction and Intervention (RTI²) framework
- Participate in professional development activities to maintain licensure and stay current with best practices
